JIM SCHUSTER NAMED DEVELOPMENT MANAGER OF ECHELON, HOME OF THE GEORGIA TECH CLUB

Jim Schuster has been named development manager of Echelon, home of the Georgia Tech Club. Echelon consists of 230 estate homesites, each approximately one acre in size. Schuster will oversee all aspects of the construction of the community that covers approximately 610 acres located in Atlanta’s northern quadrant, ideally situated in the "horse country" of Alpharetta in the heart of the GA-400 corridor, in Cherokee and Fulton counties.
Schuster was previously president of Medallion Homes Inc. in Suwanee, Georgia. The company builds custom homes, and Schuster’s responsibilities included purchasing land, negotiating and contracting sub-contractors, overseeing all construction and sales activities while fulfilling homebuyer’s dreams. During his 20-year career in residential real estate Schuster also worked for Centex Homes in Alpharetta, Georgia and various residential projects in Florida.

"Jim Schuster is knowledgeable of all aspects of luxury residential development," said Trip Shine, general manager of Echelon. "We expect him to be a major resource for us in working with our builders as well as managing the day to day activities involved with completing the infrastructure of Echelon and our various amenities."

The Georgia Tech Club will feature an 18-hole Rees Jones championship golf course, a 35-acre practice range and learning center, and a campus style clubhouse complex including a pro shop, dining area, club lounge and locker rooms.

In addition to the clubhouse, the facilities will include a fitness and wellness center and a Swim Center. There will also be a Tennis Club designed by former U.S. Open and Wimbledon champion, Stan Smith.

The home builders for Echelon were recently announced, including: O’Dea Properties, Storey Signature Homes, Torrance Properties, Inc., S.P. Casey Construction, Inc., Quartaro Properties, Inc., Campbell Homes, Inc., IQ Homes, The Paddocks Group, and Carriage Homes, Inc.
