Benefits to Members and the Georgia Tech Golf Team Through social, fitness, athletic and educational opportunities, the Georgia Tech Club will serve as a centerpiece for the preservation and enhancement of the relationship between the Institute's Alumni and supporters. The Georgia Tech Club will encompass a Rees Jones designed 18- hole golf course and clubhouse, separate practice and locker facilities for members and the Georgia Tech golf teams, and a state-of-the-art Golf Learning Center. The Golf Learning Center will give the Georgia Tech golf teams another competitive advantage. Benefits to Georgia Tech Along with strengthening ties between Georgia Tech and its Alumni and supporters, the Georgia Tech Club will serve many other purposes for the Institute. These include the generation of significant funds through revenue sharing, providing a long-term endowment. Georgia Tech will receive 5% of all membership sales and 10% of the Club's gross operating revenue on an annual basis. In addition, recruiting for the Georgia Tech golf programs will grow more competitive thanks to the Golf Learning Center, practice facilities and priority access to the championship golf course.
